Czech Republic Reelects Zeman As President

Russia-friendly incumbent Milos Zeman was reelected president of the Czech Republic for a second five-year term on January 27. Final results showed Zeman won a runoff ballot with 51.36 percent of the vote compared to 48.63 percent for his opponent, pro-European academic Jiri Drahos. (AP)
